Isn't this something I can do myself ?
Yes it is, if you have the time and patience to do so. Everyone has a designer within them and with all the new plug in and drag website platforms in the world any one can create their own website. With that said creating a website is not as fast and easy as it sounds. It can be tedious and time consuming. One would have to first learn the platform in which they would like to create their website on, gather the content and then sit for possibly hours at a time arranging and organizing their content onto the website to get the look they desire.

Norman Web Design, instead of spending the hours needed, to learn a web design program and to create a quality website - you work with me, and I spend my time doing it for you. Leaving you to spend your time managing your business, your passion, your art.
After my website is built, will I be able to make alterations myself?
Yes and No. If you purchase a basic site from the starter site list you will not be able to make alterations yourself. You will be able to contact me at anytime to make the alterations or additions to your website for an additional fee. (We do provide basic alternation once a month free of charge.)
If after you purchase a basic site you would like to make alterations, the site can be transferred over to you for a fee. (If the site is extensively altered in a way that you do not like there will also be a fee to undo the changes).
Full access to make your own changes to the site is given with the purchase of Blog, e-commerce, or Custom after completion of the website.
Once the website has been completed, you are entitled to two (2) basic adjustments each month. Larger adjustments, monthly website management and “as needed” services are available for an hourly fee.
How long will it take to have my website completed ?
It all depends on the type of website being designed. Sites with less pages, images, words, all around content take less time then more complicated sites.
Expedited services are available for an additional charge. Most expedited sites can be completed within a week.

What are templates? Why is there a charge to change the template after the content of the website has been added?
Templates are the base design of a web page. Think of a web template as a cake recipe. You have the main ingredients so that your cake will be a cake (the template) but you still need to add the flavor, the color, decide the final outcome of the cake, (whether it’s going to be cup cakes or a 3 layer cake) and the frosting the color. Which is the rest of the website, the amount of pages the way each page is set up and color scheme of the page.
Before your content will be added to a web page you will need to approve a template, the base design, the basic layout of the website, the arrangement of the menus bar and the content on each page.
The cost to change the template after it has been approved is so high to change after your content has been added is do to the fact because in short if the template is changed we will basically be starting from the beginning and will be building a new site.
It is very important to take the time and think about the answers on the content form, to look over the templates and speak you opinion about what you do and do not like in a template before we start arranging the main portions of your content to your website. If you do not like something me feeling will not be hurt I will be appreciative of your honestly. My goal is to produce a website that my clients feel happy about.
